Dažādas piezīmes WNDR3700 - how to revert to default firmware

Vakarnakt mazlietiņ sanāca nograut rūteri :D
Tā rezultātā nācās atjaunot uz defaulto netgear firmwari (kas ir pilnīgi draņķīga, neadvancēta utt) un pēc tam uzlikt atpakaļ jau iecienīto dd-wrt.

1 labums ir - tā visa rezultātā tiku pie jaunākās dd-wrt firmwares, kas patiesībā arī bija sākotnējais mērķis. Tikai labāk firmware updeitus nedarīt 5 no rīta :D

Tātad, kā atjaunot defaulto netgear firmwari uz "semi-bricked" rūtera:

=== 1. veids ================================
Download the firmware to your desktop and rename it to something simple (say like 10.img).

Turn off the router with the power button located on the back.

Take a toothpick or something small then push and hold the reset button on the bottom of the router while you power on the router.

Continue to hold the reset button and the router power light should flash seven times go solid then start flashing again.

Now release the reset button and open a command prompt.

Type the following into the command prompt pushing enter after every entry: tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put 10.img

If you see transfer successful you are done.

Go do something else for a while as it may take up to five minutes for the router to be ready again. It may seem like nothing is happening but all will be OK it just takes time.

First of all, You must download the file tftp.exe from:
http://www.tftp-server.com/tftp-download.html

Second, download the file with WNDR3700_xxx.img original firmware from:
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12863

Place both files in the same directory ex. c:\WNDR

Than:
- plug the PC into LAN port 1
- set the pc to a static IP of 192.168.1.2
- power on the router
- press and hold the RESET button as soon as the switch LEDs light up.
- keep holding RESET until the power LED begins to flash orange and then green.
- only the power LED is flashing green (and of course port 1), release RESET and than

Run cmd on PC and go to c:\WNDR and type this code:

tftp -i -v 192.168.1.1 PUT

Vai ta nevarēja uzreiz uzlikt DD-WRT? Un vai ta tam modelim nau arī OpenWRT? http://downloads.openwrt.or... šeitan. Ja bootloaderis vel iet tad sysupgrade versiju un vaidzētu iet. itkā... bet serial consoles 100% pateikt nevar.
