There are approximately 131 buses and trolley bus routes in Qingdao.  Most buses are rmb-slot self service buses.  The fare is 1 rmb (2 rmb for air-conditioned buses), irregardless of the number of stops traveled.  There are a small number of buses that are conductor operated; the fare is 0.5 rmb for 1 to 6 stops and 1 rmb for 1 to 12 stops.
